We guess this is what happens when you hang out with the crew from Whatevs dot org. Yesterday it was announced that six time Olympic Gold Medal winner Michael Phelps was arrested last week and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in Salisbury, Md.

For his part, Phelps realized he made a big boo boo. “Getting into a car with anything to drink is wrong. It’s dangerous and it’s unacceptable. I’m 19, but was taught that no matter how old you are, you take responsibility for actions, which I will do. I’m extremely sorry,” he said.

A state trooper pulled Phelps over after he failed to stop at a stop sign. He was taken into custody and later cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired for alcohol, violation for a license restriction and failure to obey a traffic control device. He is due in court at a date to be determined.
