When we announced that we’d be hosting our second-ever DCist happy hour, we thought it’d be good to resurrect the DCist trivia challenge.

A quick history of the trivia challenge: Before Jason Linkins joined the DCist crew, he erronously reported on DCeiver that we’d be giving out free Julia’s Empanadas, Oprah-style, at our first happy hour. That wasn’t true, but we did want to offer free drinks, but only to the person who could correctly answer our trivia challenge. Yes, we’re cheap, but damn, we’re crafty.

So put on your thinking caps. Get ready. The next trivia challenge will evolve over the next three days. Using information from three clues today, tomorrow and Wednesday, you’ll put it all together on Thursday, and the first one to find Mike at the Big Hunt and blurt out the correct answer gets a free drink. A follow-up question will be asked on the spot and if you answer it in a satisfactory manner, then you may get a second free drink.

Everyone is eligible to participate, even fellow DCist contributors. (Mike will not be giving out any extra special insider hints and the answers won’t be found in the recesses of Movable Type.)
