Can you? CAN YOU? No? Well, that’s OK. Neither can we. And we’ve got a doozie we’ve been dying to tell you ever since we found out about it.

Our friendly in-the-know folks over at washingtonpost.com’s TWIN entertainment column were kind enough to alert us to the fact that though you might not have tickets to the 9:30 Club Arcade Fire concert this Sunday night, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your fill of adorable Texas/Canandian hipsters.

That’s because members of the Arcade Fire will be heading toward Saint-Ex’s Gate 54 post-show to spin their favorite tunes for your listening pleasure. The event is free and 21+ only; things should get started around midnight.

Now, before your head explodes because a) you can’t wait to attack the group and wow them with your deep musical thoughts or b) you can’t believe the amount of overexposure we’re giving the most over-blogged band of 2004, remember a few things: Gate 54 is approximately the size of a large bathroom; there will be around 2,000 eager fans lining up to fit into the 10×10 space; and the Arcade Fire will merely be DJing, not giving any sort of secret show or anything.

Nevertheless, it should be a pretty cool experience. Additionally, check DCist Monday for a concert review, pictures, and various other musical goodies (more ticket giveaways, perhaps?).
