Many of the memorials and monuments on both sides of the Potomac were packed with people honoring those who have fallen in current and past wars. Fenty Ready to Announce Mayoral Intentions: Ward 4’s councilmember, Adrian Fenty (at right), plans to announce something on Wednesday. Will it be Fenty’s formal entry into the race for mayor? From a media advisory:
Ward 4 Councilmember Adrian M. Fenty will hold a press conference on Wednesday, June 1, at 9:30 am, at 1905 Kenyon Street NW to announce his decision on a possible mayoral bid. Fenty, who will meet with his family prior to the press conference, will be joined by several supporters.
