Reminding us all once again that the District was built on a swamp, this weekend’s weather was anything but friendly. Humid and sticky by day, sheets-of-water rainy by night. It doesn’t look like we’ll be catching a break anytime soon, either.
This is what you may have missed on DCist over the last week:
— DCist introduces a new feature reviewing area watering holes, starting with Trusty’s on Capitol Hill.
— The newest installment in the Harry Potter series hit the stands nationwide; we read furiously.
— Local nuisance/revolutionary Borf is finally nabbed in the act, debates ensue.
— We keyed readers in to some of the hotter shows in town, with more to come this week.
— We explored the nuances of the intern dress code.
— D.C. radio suffers two great losses — Freda Wright-Sorce and David Haines.
