Proving again that Google is crafting programs and writing code to automate and simplify even the most mundane tasks, HispanicTips.com today tipped off DCist to the nifty little Google tool that translates any web-page from one language to another. Want to read a recent post on hurricane relief events in Italian? Presto! How about a post about D.C. United in French? Voila! The Japanese version of a recent post on Linda Cropp, pictured at right, is particularly intense.
DCist can now be read in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, and without any of DCist’s writers or editors actually having to bother learning those languages or hiring expensive translators!
