The U Street vintage boutique unveils recent designer acquisitions at its bi-annual designer sale starting today. Look for Dior, Yves St. Laurent, Chanel and Valentino mingled with more recent designer items from Marc Jacobs, Michael Stars and Betsey Johnson.

DCist’s favorite piece? A Saint Laurent jacket (image left) that not only fits perfectly with this fall’s “Victorian” look, but also boasts a quality of fabric and line that potentially makes this fitted-velvet a treasured signature piece for your wardrobe.

Beyond its designer selections, Junction offers equally intriguing — if not quite so name-drop worthy — pieces that would add character to a wardrobe. Check out the blazers for a unique find; we saw a cranberry suede and a lightweight belted jean. If you’re seeking a pair of brown cowboy boots that don’t exude squeaky brand-new vibes, stop by soon to snag a pair of the new women’s boots that were added last week. We also spotted not one, but two gold mesh evening bags, which, aside from the fact that metallics are still big this fall, is always a classic piece to have handy.
