For some of us, going out on a fancy date for Valentine’s Day with all those starry-eyed young lovers has lost its appeal. Bad complementary champagne, ubiquitous heart-shaped plates, cloying waiters, and an endless sea of pink and lace just doesn’t seem that exciting anymore.
