Last week, WMATA announced the results of its 2006 Student Poster Contest. Several winners in different age groups were chosen, but the overall Poster of the Year, the work of Stonewall Jackson High School’s David Hong, is shown at left. DCist congratulates him, and we look forward to seeing the poster in trains and buses later this year. Hong did an excellent job illustrating the way in which Metrobus is neglected, and we agree with his assessment that balloon carrying, ribbon bewhiskered Metro trains would be awesome.
