You may be out celebrating tomorrow, but you’ve got Wednesday to rest and recover for the Butterstick Bash on Thursday.

Starting at 7 p.m. at Chief Ike’s in Adams Morgan, DCist will be throwing a happy hour/birthday celebration for the National Zoo’s celebrity-in-chief, Butterstick, whose one-year anniversary is this coming Sunday. And while we won’t have bamboo shoots or fruitsicles (or the panda, unless I can convince Ryan to jump the fence at the zoo tomorrow night), we will provide good company and a prize for the reader who best displays their dedication to all things Butterstick.
