D.C. Cops are asking for your help in catching a man they say raped a woman in an alley on April 4. The attack happened in the 1300 block of G St., NE as the victim was taking her daughter to dinner. The 33-year-old woman was forced into the alley at knife point by two men. One man held her three-year-old daughter while the other man sexually assaulted her. Afterwards the men fled the scene.
Yesterday the MPD released a sketch of one of the suspects. The first suspect (pictured right) is described as a black male in his late 30s with a medium complexion. Police say he’s 6’1″ tall, 200 pounds with a mixed gray beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and dark-colored stone-washed jeans. The second attacker is described as a black man in his 20s with a light complexion. The victim said he wore a black baseball cap and a black jacket.
A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case. Anyone with information should call MPD as at (202) 727-9099 or Crime Solvers confidential hotline: 1-800-673-2777. Please take a look at the sketch and, as always, be alert as you head out this weekend.
