UPDATE: You guys are fantastic! We’ve made it way over our goal of $2000, but don’t let that stop you. The money goes to a great cause, so let’s see how high we can raise the bar. More importantly, please note that the Hine project is FULL. You can still join our team to raise donations, but you’ll have to pick another project and just meet us at the after-volunteer party at Buffalo Billards. Luckily for you, there are a whole slew of things to choose from. Thank you to everyone who’s participated!

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up to participate in Servathon 2007. We greatly appreciate all the support we’ve received so far, with all of our teammates raising a goodly amount of money (unlike some teams with deep pockets that are somehow beating us) that will go to support D.C. area non-profits over the next year.
Remember, we’re going to paint Hine Junior High, located at 335 8th Street, SE, directly across the street from the Eastern Market Metro. Get messy with us between 8:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on May 5. We know it’s early, but free beer awaits you when you’re volunteered-out. Free Beer. Oh, and that warm, fuzzy feeling in your soul from helping others (though that might just be the buzz).
The deadline for signing up is tomorrow, April 27, so click right here to help us with our Extreme DCPS Makeover. We promise we’re much less annoying hosts (and wear a lot less flannel).
If you can’t join us on May 5, we urge you to throw $5 or $10 dollars in our pot. At last peek, we’re a mere $80 away from our goal of $2000, so help us out, will ya? I don’t know about the rest of my teammates, but half my donations are from halfway across the country. Are you going to let a bunch of Ohioans fund our city’s organizations? Why don’t we just give up our vote! Or something. Put your pennies in the jar and help folks in need right on your block.
