Caribou Coffee is celebrating the first official day of summer (yes, it feels like it’s been here for a month) by hosting their 3rd Annual CoolerFest. They will be giving away FREE 12 ounce samples of their Northern Lite Coolers at all of their locations between 2 and 3 p.m. You will have a choice of chocolate, vanilla, or caramel. Unfortunately, if you are already relaxing in an air-conditioned airport, you will not be able to take advantage of this delicious offer, as those locations are excluded.

The Northern Lite Coolers are presented as “swimsuit” friendly since they are lower in fat than the original coolers. For those of you who care about those pesky little numbers, this is indeed true as the amount of fat has been reduced by over half. But that doesn’t mean it will save you elsewhere. The calories are reduced by about 50 and the carbs come out about even. But if you’re like us just say the hell with it and get yourself some free refreshment!
