Okay folks, this is your very last reminder to get your photos into the DCist Exposed pool before it closes for good at midnight this Sunday. Over 180 applications and 300 photos have been entered so far, and a brief look through the pool tells us we’ll have some tough judging on our hands next week. Unless we get tripped up trying to narrow this field down to just 45 photos, we’ll be announcing the winners who will be hanging their work in the 2008 show on Wednesday, January 23.

Whether you’ve chosen to enter the show or not, mark your calendars for Friday, March 7, when we’ll be holding the opening reception for Exposed at Civilian Art Projects, located at 406 7th Street NW in Penn Quarter. (If you’d like a sneak preview of the space, stop by the gallery tonight between 7 and 9 p.m. for the reception for their current show.)

Remember you must fill out our brief application and submit your $5 entry fee to be considered for the show. If you have any questions, please leave them on the Flickr discussion board (preferably) or email heather [at] dcist [com].

Good luck and thanks for participating!
