WEDNESDAY:
>>Well, we told you yesterday about the Lupe Fiasco show being sold out. Maybe if you hang outside the 9:30 Club before the 9 p.m. start you can catch a deal. Otherwise, you know the drill.

THURSDAY:
>>For the second week in a row, there will be a producer showcase/battle in the District. Beatdown V will go down at Felix promptly at 10 p.m., featuring Bink!, Sebb, Kyle Murdock, and Mark Nfinit. $10.

>>Flex Mathews will once again be hosting Goodwill Ink at the Velvet Lounge. 8 p.m., Free.

FRIDAY:
>>Featuring the sounds that evolved into modern house music, Chris Burns and Maxmillion Dunbar will be spinning Larry Levan classics along with other quality dance tunes as a part of the Disco City series at the Rock & Roll Hotel. 9:30 p.m., Free.

SATURDAY:
>>Emily King (pictured) is relatively new to the scene, but that didn’t keep her debut album, East Side Story, from earning a Grammy nod recently. The NYC-born vocalist and guitar player transposes her life to song rather smoothly, hence the award nod. She’ll be joined by Franklin Bridge of “America’s Next Top Band” fame at the Black Cat. 9 p.m., $15.

>>If you don’t know his catch phrases, “We the Best!” and “LISTENNN…,” you haven’t been listening to commericial radio or viewing any Viacom-controlled video channels. Coming out of Miami, DJ Khaled is probably the South’s biggest DJ right now thanks to tunes like this. He’ll be at Love with WPGC’s Big Tigger. 9 p.m., Free with Internet pass.
