MUSIC: Seattle outfit Say Hi (now without the “to Your Mom”) bring their minimalist pop to the Black Cat. With Caverns, $10, 9 p.m.

FEATS OF STRENGTH: The Palace of Wonders is hosting an arm wrestling tournament tonight featuring the excessively groovy (and strong) D.C. Furies Women’s Rugby Team. Teams of ladies are encouraged to register for the competition starting at 6 p.m., with wrestling against the Furies slated to run from 9 to 11 p.m. $5 to register.

MUSIC: Singer-songwriter Jesse Malin has toured with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Flogging Molly in the last year, and he’ll perform a set of country-influenced, solo tunes tonight at Iota in Arlington, $15, 8:30 p.m.

MOVIE: It’s your last chance to catch Ingmar Bergman’s classic film The Seventh Seal in its special run at the AFI Silver Theatre. 7 p.m.

JAZZ: March is apparently Music in Our Schools Month at the Kennedy Center, which translates to two nights of performances on the Millennium Stage by some of the area’s top student ensembles. Tonight catch the Dunloggin Middle School Percussion Ensemble from Ellicott City, Md. and the Lake Braddock Secondary School Guitar Ensemble from Burke, Va. 6 p.m., free.
