>> If you feel like dancing after DCist Exposed, two-thirds of Le Tigre, touring under the moniker Men, will be playing a DJ set of comfortingly-familiar electro dance pop in the Black Cat mainstage with Hey Willpower! and special guest DJ Stereo Faith. $12 at the door, 9 p.m.
>> The one and only Missy Elliot will perform at Ibiza for only $20. 9 p.m.
>> Or over at 9:30 Club, it’s your chance to find out why Starbucks is pushing CDs of Australian crooner Sia so hard. With Har Mar Superstar, $20, 9 p.m.
SATURDAY:

>> Washington Post reporter Robin Wright will appear at Politics and Prose to discuss her new book, Dreams and Shadows: The Future of the Middle East, which draws on her extensive reporting in Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey, the Gulf States and the Palestinian territories. 6 p.m.
SUNDAY:
>> Consider catching a staged reading of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom at the Kennedy Center, part of their August Wilson’s 20th Century program running through April 6 in the Terrace Theater. 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 and available online.
>> The University of Maryland’s Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center hosts legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea and vibist Gary Burton. >> D.C. native Alice Smith is building a name for herself on the “urban alternative” scene with the help of her 2006 release, For Lovers, Dreamers & Me. A Grammy nod and TV appearances have put her in the public eye lately. Now based out of Brooklyn, she’ll be returning home for a show at the Black Cat. 8 p.m., $15.
>> Yeah, we kind of wish we had snagged tickets to the sold out show The Pogues are playing at 9:30 Club, too. You know the drill.
>> Don’t forget to check out our film picks of the week, including a special one-week only run of Bruce Weber’s Chet Baker documentary, Let’s Get Lost, at the E Street cinemas.
