Best-selling historian Rick Shenkman makes an appearance at the Olsson’s in Dupont Circle to discuss his newest book, Just How Stupid Are We?: Facing the Truth about the American Voter. 7 p.m.
Author and musician Sid Griffin will be at the Barnes and Noble in Georgetown to discuss his book, Million Dollar Bash: Bob Dylan, The Band, and the Basement Tapes, the story of Dylan and his recordings during the summer of 1967. 7 p.m.
Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan will make an appearance at Politics and Prose to talk about his controversial new tell-all, What Happened. It starts at 7 p.m., but we’d recommend getting there several hours early if you hope to get a seat.
