SPORTS: It’s a sporty night in the District. The Kastles play their last match of the season, against Anna Kournikova and the St. Louis Aces, at 7 p.m., and D.C. United take on the Houston Dynamo in a rescheduled match at RFK at 7:30 p.m. Pick your side and snap up some tickets.
KARAOKE: Kostume Karaoke has expanded to twice a month at Solly’s, so tonight is the first bonus night since the event moved to the U Street tavern. You can wear your own costume if you want, but it’s actually more fun to choose from the pile of ridiculous costume pieces and accessories on the table by the stage. Karaoke starts at 8 p.m., and stops whenever the bartenders can’t take it anymore. No cover.
MUSIC: Cincinnati’s poppy The Pomegranates play on the Black Cat’s backstage, with Tereu Tereu and Carlos I’m Pregnant!, both from Frederickburg, Va. $8. 9 p.m.
