• This afternoon, Ricardo Walters — Harriette’s nephew — was the first person to be sentenced in the D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue scandal. Walters, who was responsible for depositing forged checks which totalled about $1.2 million, will spend the next 6 ½ years in prison. [AP via WTOP]
