MOVIE: The Washington Psychotronic Film Society is screening Secret Ceremony at the Old Arlington Grill. As opposed to WPFS’s usual camp or bizarro fare, this one appears to be merely obscure. The plot revolves around a prostitute and a young woman who form a relationship based on a desire to pretend to be mother and daughter. Mia Farrow, Liz Taylor and Robert Mitchum star. $2 suggested donation, 8:30 p.m.
DJ: Feel like dancing? Head over to “This Ain’t No Disco” at Saint-Ex, featuring hand-selected 70s tunes from DJ Chris Burns. Free, 10 p.m.
MUSIC: Interesting show at the Black Cat. Veteran Danish anarchist avant-punk group The Ex, who have been incorporating the sounds of various cultures into their music for 25 years, have made an album with Ethiopian saxophonist Getatchew Mekuria. They’ll all perform together on the mainstage, with Three Stars alums Shortstack opening. $15, 8 p.m.
MUSIC: Blues legend Buddy Guy performs at Wolf Trap tonight. With George Thorogood, tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $22-$40.
