TENNIS: Andy Roddick plays the 6 p.m. match tonight at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park. Check out our report and photos from last night’s action.

DANCE: Second Thursdays at the Torpedo Factory Art Center will feature the opening of their annual international landscape show. Breakdancers from the University of Mary Washington will give a sneak-peak performance tonight; see the full show when Torpedo’s Beach Party opens next week. Free. 6:30 to 8 p.m.

MUSIC: We have a feeling that Thao Nguyen and The Get Down Stay Down are only going to keep getting bigger. Tonight’s show at the Black Cat could be one of those “I saw them in this great little club” stories sometime down the road. $12, 8 p.m.

ART: VSA’s “This Is Who I Am”, opening tonight at the WVSA ARTiculate Gallery, is showing the work of students in the Summer Employment Training Program. No, not that summer employment program. This one “gives special needs youth the opportunity to positively communicate their experiences as teens growing up in Washington, DC.” 5:30-7:30 p.m., 1100 16th Street NW.

MUSIC: We’ve been lamenting it all week, but tonight’s really the end. Bid farewell to this year’s Fort Reno concert series with The Jet Age, Yell County and Title Tracks, a new project from John Davis of Q and Not U/Georgie James fame. Free, 7:15 p.m. Of course, it’s just started to rain. The rain info hotline still said the show is on as of 4:20 p.m., but it’s a good idea to call 202-355-6356 before heading up to the park.

RESTAURANT WEEK: There are still a handful of reservations available at some choice RW participants tonight. Head to Open Table and snag yourself a fine meal.
