FILM: Put on your Thor horns, grab a copy of Playboy, and know that you won’t get anywhere without singin’ the blues. AFI Silver is playing the 1987 classic Adventures In Babysitting at 9:40 tonight and tomorrow for your late summer enjoyment. MUSIC: They’re named after a happy and oddly magical man of the earth from the Lord of the Rings series, and conveniently, Bombadil provides happy folk music that’s reminiscent of the mountain blues of their Carolina home. They’ll be at The Red and The Black. 9 p.m., $10.
KARAOKE: Sticky Rice on H Street is hosting their regular Tuesday night Karaoke. Warm up your pipes on $2 Tecates, and step up to the mic starting at 10 p.m.
