- New evidence, including a backpack and a pair of baseball hats left behind at the crime scenes, has police more sure than ever that the recent rash of home invasion robberies in and around Bethesda and Potomac have all been perpetrated by the same suspect.
- Jayrece Turnbull, the niece of D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue embezzlement scheme mastermind Harriette Walters, did indeed become the final person to plead guilty to her role in the crime today. Turnbull has been described as the most involved Walters accomplice, having cashed some of the largest checks in the scam since she became involved in 2000.
