>> RFD is hosting a big sponsored election night event with $3 Yuenglings, $4 Captain Morgans, trivia and party favors. This one kicks off at 6 p.m., and is a good option for those of you with large groups looking for a place where you might all be able to sit together — just get there early.

>> The sold-out Left Bank party has suddenly become a hot ticket. Is it the long list of progressive hosts, or the presence of DJ Will Eastman? Probably both. If you managed to snag one of the 200 or so tickets sold in advance, you can probably turn that sucker around for a profit. Not that we encourage that sort of behavior. 6 p.m. on.

>> The 14th and U location of the reliably pro-Obama local chain Busboys and Poets is all decked out in red, white and blue for their party tonight. They’re promising food and drink specials all-day, plus results projected on a big screen in the back room.

>> Libertarians should head to Rocket Bar, where Reason Magazine and America’s Future Foundation will be watching the results come in. They’re advertising Happy Hour drink specials starting at 7:30 p.m.

>> Sixth & I Historic Synagogue is hosting a big gathering, along with Humanity in Action and Institut Montaigne. RSVP here for access to a cash bar and a q&a session with Georgetown Law Professor Peter Edelman and The New Republic’s Jeffrey Rosen.

>> We’ve heard of several groups planning to gather at Lafayette Park in front of the White House after the presidential election is called. If you go, be mindful of the Secret Service!

>> BrightestYoungThings is hosting a big party at Bohemian Caverns from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., complete with moon bounces and other carnival-type attractions. Sounds pretty sweet, and only costs $5 to get in. Across the street, Solly’s is offering drink specials and lots of TVs upstairs. We have a feeling 11th and U is going to be a hot intersection tonight.

>> Obviously, there’s lots of other election parties, many of them invite-only, all over town. Feel free to add any details for events you know about that are open to the public in the comments.
