11 p.m. CNN Calls Virginia

The polls closed in Virginia at 7 p.m. It’s still too early to call as of 7:30 p.m., but that’s not stopping the cable news networks from getting going on the speculation. CNN’s exit polls show Obama winning among men, and winning among women, so … perhaps we should remind ourselves why exit polls are kinda sucky before we start jumping to conclusions. We’re still waiting to hear a pundit say that they’d feel confident calling the election if Virginia goes to Obama — so far no one we’ve seen has been willing to go that far.
