Some key decisions were made that will eventually help all of us, right? The Politico says not so much.
Boy’s Death Ends Dispute Between Family and Hospital: Twelve-year-old Motl Brody passed away on Saturday at Children’s National Medical Center, thus ending the religiously influenced legal battle between his parents and the hospital over whether the boy was legally dead. Brody’s doctors had declared him brain dead, but his parents said their Orthodox Jewish faith did not define death that way and fought to keep him on life support. He was buried yesterday in Brooklyn.
