Even Shadow Senator Paul Strauss had a car in the parade. And a classic one, to boot.

Parents of students killed or injured during the Virginia Tech massacre of April last year are meeting with Virginia governor Tim Kaine today to discuss new findings, reports the Washington Post. According to the article, the families mean to press Gov. Kaine to reconvene the investigative panel assembled shortly after the massacre and ask its member to correct discrepancies that the family believes are mistakes. Good on them. No one will be more diligent about making sure that every question is answered and that the school is safer going forward than those families who experienced loss. Since they agreed jointly not to sue the school in exchange for insurance and some answers, a more thorough accounting for the events of that day seems like the least they can ask.
