Having just dealt with a holiday break filled with sickness, Flickr user dharmabumx’s shot of a piping hot bowl of chicken noodle soup conjures memories of its warm, soothing, mucus-ejecting benefits. I’ve invested heavily in Bangkok 54’s tom yum over the past couple weeks, and think that some pho slathered with Sriracha will provide the needed final push.

Thanks to everyone who entered their photos for the DCist Exposed Photography Show.  We received a record number of submissions this year, 789 in total, which is more than 200 than we received last year. Winners will be announced next Wednesday.
