Just two more days left! The DCist Exposed Photography Show opens at the Gallery at Flashpoint this Friday, featuring the work of our many talented photographers. Flickr user andertho’s photo of the Metro is a fantastic example of the unique vision that flips our city’s touristy images on their heads, a vision acquired only by the people who work and live here every day.
See andertho’s photograph (and his other one!) at the opening reception on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. Get there early, and don’t forget that all of these images are for sale at affordable prices — a fantastic way to begin your own art collection, and one that supports local artists as well. Take a look at all the winning images for a preview of what might look fantastic over your couch.
We’ll even be providing some tunes at the reception this year, courtesy DJ TEN from Fewsion Media, with sound provided by Hedrush Music. See you there!
