Still, if the success of previous locally-based Top Chef losers is any indication, we’ll be hearing more from Carla soon enough.
Voting Rights Debate Continues: Senate action is set to continue this morning at 9:30 a.m. on the D.C. House Voting Rights Act. Make sure to catch up on yesterday’s action with our comprehensive live-blog, and tune back in this morning for a series of votes on the remaining amendments that were offered yesterday, including Jon Kyl’s retrocession amendment and John Ensign’s District gun law repeal amendment.
Also of note: the Post reports that yesterday’s lengthy House Judiciary Committee hearing did vote to take the House version of the bill to the floor for a vote. The House is expected to vote on the legislation next week.
