FOOD & DRINK: It’s your very last chance to catch Punch Club at Warehouse, a warm, classy evening of cocktails, delicious curried peanuts, and of course, various tasty (and strong!) punches from Room 11 partners Dan Searing, Nick Pimintel, Ben Gilligan and Paul Ruppert. Get a sneak peak of what the soon-to-open Columbia Heights wine bar will have on its menu. Most drinks run about $5-$6. 6:30 p.m. until whenever the punch runs out.

MUSIC: Tickets are still available for a late show from Ozomatli, who will be teaming up with former Jurassic 5 emcee Chali 2na at the 9:30 Club. $22, 10 p.m.

ART: The American Art Museum’s McEvoy Auditorium host a discussion with video and film artist Leslie Thornton. After a screening, Thornton will discuss how Orientalism relates to her past and present work. 7 p.m., free.

MUSIC: If these days getting slammed by Pitchfork is more a badge of honor than a career-ender, tonight’s concert from the Airborne Toxic Event at Black Cat ought to see plenty of fans show up. You’ve heard that one song, “Sometime Around Midnight,” and the rest of their live show is just as polished and winning. Alberta Cross and Henry Clay People open. $13, 8 p.m.

MOVIE: The AFI Silver is screening a series of Paul Newman’s greatest films since he recently passed away, and tonight you’ve got your last chance to see Cool Hand Luke, maybe his best performance ever, and certainly his most iconic. The script is also the source of literally dozens of classic lines, not the least of which is “What we’ve got here is…failure to communicate.” 8:30 p.m.
