- Double heh. Police prostitution sting nets D.C. police officer. Even better, after attending john school, the officer in question is now back on the job, assigned to a foot patrol in 4D.
- The Anti DC reveals how her stimulus bonus appears in her unemployment check, muses on what it all means: “In essence, aren’t AIG employees and I both getting rewarded for failure?”
- SWDC Blog reports on new bike lanes planned for I Street SW, which sound like they’ll be a big help there: “Like many streets in Southwest, I St. has no lane markings for several blocks. There’s not even a median line in some places, and the street is quite a bit wider than one lane in each direction.”
- Bread for the City’s blog has started a weekly feature identifying which local service non-profits need help with donations. First up, So Others Might Eat (SOME) is in need of donations of thermal underwear, socks, washcloths and bars of soap.
