MOVIE: Tonight’s Washington Psychotronic Film Society screening is Blood Car, a 2007 low budget horror comedy about an automobile that runs on an alternative fuel: human blood. At the Warehouse Theater at 8 p.m., $2 suggested donation.

MUSIC: Juan de Marcos Gonzalez performs tonight with the Afro-Cuban Allstars, a combo of Cuban refugee musicians who live around the world. If you’re a fan of the Buena Vista Social Club, this show is for you. At Strathmore at 8 p.m. $25-$52.

TALK: Head to the Sixth and I Historic Synagogue as they launch Genocide Prevention Month with a 20-minute preview screening of The Last Survivor, followed by a discussion with genocide survivors, advocates, policy experts and the filmmakers led by former CNN anchor Andrea Koppel. 7 p.m.; $6.

DJ: Looks like the Girls Rock! DC-sponsored ladies-only DJ class at the Black Cat has already filled up, but we’re tempted to skulk around the Red Room anyway and see if we can at least sneak a peek inside.
