Deeds Wins Virginia Primary: Everyone seemed surprised last night that state senator Creigh Deeds pulled out such a decisive victory in yesterday’s Virginia Democratic primary race for governor. Might have had something to do with the fact that he started racking up key endorsements toward the end of a race no one really wanted to spend too much time thinking about. Not having a New York accent probably helped, too. Fun fact: Deeds even managed to capture the district represented in Congress by Jim Moran, candidate Brian Moran’s brother.

They could have been more help,” Norton told WTOP.
