MUSIC: It must really be summer, because Fort Reno officially kicks off tonight in the park across the street from Woodrow Wilson High School. Tonight’s show features a pair of DCist Three Stars: alums Pash, the Will Rast-led group Funk Ark, along with folk-y newcomers The Sweater Set. Remember the Fort Reno Rules: No alcohol, no drugs, no glass bottles! But do bring blankets, dogs, picnics, babies, etc. 7:15 p.m.

MOVIE: The Crystal City BID‘s ongoing outdoor movie tribute to superheroes continues tonight with the far too often overlooked Superman 3, aka Superman vs. Superman, starring Richard Pryor as evil computer genius Gus Gorman and Christopher Reeve as both the “good” Clark Kent and “evil” Superman twin who is born after the man of steel is exposed to some red kryptonite. Free, in the courtyard across from the Crystal City Metro Station. Film begins at sunset, around 8:30 p.m.

MUSIC: DC9‘s got respected noise purveyors The Paper Chase, along with locals The Laughing Man and The Gagged. $10, 9 p.m.

MOVIE: SILVERDOCS wraps up for good tonight, showing a selection of festival winners and audience favorites one last time. DCist recommends Facing Ali at 8 p.m. and Best Worst Movie at 10 p.m.
