MUSIC: It’s looking like a nice night for Fort Reno, with the always inspiring Imperial China and FFFever, who are gaining more buzz than we can even keep up with. The Key Blanks will get things started at 7:15 p.m. Free.

JAZZ: 81-year old altoist Lee Konitz was a pioneer of the “cool jazz” movement of the 1950s and 60s, and was featured on Miles Davis’s groundbreaking Birth of the Cool session. He’s performing at Blues Alley tonight with Minsarah, featuring German pianist Florian Weber, Israeli-born drummer Ziv Ravitz, and American bassist Jeff Denson. Tickets to the 8 and 10 p.m. sets are $25 + $12.50 minimum/surcharge.

ART: Tonight the Hirshhorn features a well-known local curator and critic In Conversation. Kristen Hileman, Hirshhorn associate curator of contemporary art, and Blake Gopnik, chief art critic at The Washington Post, will each talk about their views and interpretations of this year’s Venice Biennale. Free, 7 p.m.
