READING: Anthropology and international development nerds will want to head over to see author and scholar Arturo Escobar as he discusses and signs copies of his new book, Territories of Difference: Place, Movements, Life, Redes, tonight at the 14th Street Busboys and Poets. Escobar will delve into the “politics of difference enacted by specific place-based ethnic and environmental movements in the context of neoliberal globalization.” 6:30 p.m., free.
