THEATER: We recommend catching the pay-what-you-can performance of Zero Hour, Jim Brochu’s one-man play about the late, larger-than-life actor Zero Mostel, tonight at 7 p.m at the Washington DC Jewish Community Center; box office opens at 6 p.m., get there between 6-6:30 p.m. to ensure your ticket. See this well reviewed show before it moves to its Off-Broadway debut.

THEATER: Or see tonight’s Free For All performance of The Taming of the Shrew at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Showtime tonight is 7:30 p.m., which means free tickets will be distributed beginning at 5:30 p.m. (We suggest getting in line even earlier). There’s a two ticket/person limit.
