The documentary follows director Heddy Honigmann as she returns to her hometown of Lima to interview service workers and street performers as a way of exploring the effects of years of political turmoil on the city’s working class. 9 p.m., $10.
READING: Free Minds, an organization that introduces young inmates to the power of reading and creative writing, presents Hear Us Out! at Sixth & I for free at 7 p.m. Tonight’s performance will feature released members of the program who will read both their poetry and the work of friends who are still in prison.

TALK: The Center for American Progress and the Progressive Book Club present Moving Forward: Foundations of a New Progressive Era, an authors series that brings writers and policy experts together.
