>> “Move Massive 09” is packing a lot of show into one night at Falls Church’s State Theatre. On the bill are locals Future, See-I and Poor Man’s Lobster as well as Akil of Jurassic 5 fame. Part of every ticket sale goes to the Wounded Warriors fund. $15 in advance/$17 at the door, 8 p.m.

>> In another case of a Philly artist who hasn’t put out an album in years, vocalist Bilal finds himself at the Black Cat for a night of soulfulness. $20, 9 p.m.

>> DJ Nitekrawler‘s “Moneytown” is once again at Dahlak (1771 U Street NW). This month’s guest is North Carolina soul crate-digger Jason Perlmutter. Free, 10 p.m.

>> WMUC in College Park will be hosting the “DMV Hip-Hop Showcase” at 3131 South Campus Dining Hall on the University of Maryland campus. Artists scheduled to appear include Phil Ade, Nando, Nick da 1da and Hassani Kwess. Free, 6 p.m.

>> With over 20 years in the business, you’d think the miles would be starting to show on Raphael Saadiq (pictured). But the singer/musician/producer has continued to keep on top of his game, most recently on the album, The Way I See It. He’ll be at the 9:30 Club for an early Monday night show. $35, 7 p.m.
