MUSIC: Born in D.C. and transplanted to New York, former-model-turned-rocker Lissy Trullie rolls through town tonight. Check out the tracks “Self Taught Learner” and “Boy Boy.” With openers Mike Bones and Xylos. At DC9, 8:30 p.m. doors, $10.

THEATER: The DCJCC is hosting a pay-what-you-can preview performance of their new show, Mommy Queerest; a coming-of-age story about Judy Gold’s, “life-long love affair with sitcoms and her professional quest to finally land a TV show of her own.” The ticket booth opens at 6 p.m., and the performance starts at 7:30 p.m.; two-ticket limit per person.

DJ: The second edition of Wonderland’s new monthly gay dance night, Pink Sock (link NSFW), is set for tonight, billed as the “Pink Stocking party,” so look out for plenty of naughty elves hanging out in the promised “mistletoe makeout area.” DJ RAD, DJ Bradley Portnoy, DJ TMY and DJ Aaron Riggins will provide the tunes. 9 p.m., no cover.

SHOPPING: If you’re heading out of town this weekend and won’t be able to make it to some of the great weekend art markets, you might want to swing by the Capitol Riverfront Holiday Market after work. The market opened yesterday at M and 2nd streets SE, and features Eastern Market vendors. Open 12 – 6 p.m. through Friday.
