Here’s a little something fun to keep an eye out for this week. The Golden Triangle BID is projecting a selection of holiday films on the side of a building in the 1100 block of Connecticut Ave. NW, between 5 and 7 p.m. every day this week. They started out on Monday with It’s a Wonderful Life, yesterday was A Christmas Story, and tonight it’ll be White Christmas.
Sadly, the BID isn’t able to offer any sound to go along with the moving pictures, but it’s still a festive thing to see while strolling through this part of the city. The movies will continue through Friday on the wall of Tiny Jewel Box at 1147 Connecticut Ave. NW, and we’re told the best spot to see them is on the west side of Connecticut, in front of The Gap. The remaining schedule is as follows:
White Christmas – Wednesday, December 16
How the Grinch Stole Christmas – Thursday, December 17
The Nutcracker – Friday, December 18
