When Capitol Hill Bikes announced in November that they’d be closing their doors, the entire neighborhood was left with the prospect of not having a good bike shop anywhere nearby. But now it seems that the shop will re-open, and only steps from its old location. Cycling blogger Money N Stuff reports that Capitol Hill Bikes will be setting up shop at 719 Eighth Street SE, literally a few storefronts down from the spot they just abandoned. No date has been set for the re-opening, but it looks like at some point in 2010 the Hill will again have a local bike shop to call its own.
