WMATA has put out its latest weekend and weeknight track maintenance schedules, and it looks like there will be plenty of frustration to go around this month. Customers on the Red, Blue and Orange lines should make a point to read through all the details linked above, but the highlight is a major track rehabilitation project on the Red Line between White Flint and Medical Center, which will see related delays on the weekends of Jan. 8-10 and 29-31, plus a full shutdown of the Grosvenor-Strathmore station during the entire Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday weekend, Jan. 15-18.

Weeknight evening delays related to the same project on the Red Line will also be in effect from 8 p.m. to closing Jan. 3-7; Jan. 11-14; Jan. 19-21; and Jan. 24-28. Other weeknight delays will affect passengers on the Blue and Orange lines from 9:30 p.m. to closing throughout much of the month.
