A woman was injured in a hit-and-run collision on U Street in the early hours of Sunday morning, officials said Monday. The incident took place at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday near the corner of 14th and U streets NW. D.C. police are looking for the driver of a four-door, silver 2005 Toyota Camry with unknown tags. The woman is said to be in stable condition after sustaining a leg injury. City officials confirmed that she works as an investigator for the District’s Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, and was on-duty at the time of the collision.
