WMATA’s rail alert system reports that the Pentagon Metro station and the bus transit center have reopened. Only the north entrance to the Metro station is open at this time. Buses that were rerouted to Pentagon City will resume service to Pentagon.
More details on the bus situation. Note that regional buses are still serving Penatgon City for now:
All Metrobuses that service the Pentagon Transit Center will provide service from the lower level of the Pentagon Transit Center starting at 1 p.m. Regional bus providers such as ART, DASH, Fairfax Connector, Loudoun County and PRTC will continue to provide bus service from the Pentagon City Metrorail station or their alternate locations due to limited space. PRTC buses are located at 11th and Eads streets.
When the FBI is finished with its work along the upper level of the Transit Center, regular bus pick-up and drop-off areas will be back in use.
The southern entrance to the Pentagon Metro station remains closed.
