- A barge bumped into the 14th Street Bridge earlier today. No injuries, no structural damage, but the barge got stuck thanks to surging water levels, AP reports.
- Kwame Brown is proposing outlawing sexual contact of any kind between “any public, charter or pre-kindergarten teacher or public day-care worker” and any student enrolled in a public school, the Post reports. Seems like a reasonable idea, but the ACLU’s got some concerns about the measure being overly broad.
