A fire broke out inside some duct work this afternoon at 1320 19th Street NW.

Fire crews responded to a call of smoke in the area around 19th & N at about 3 p.m., and discovered the fire, according the D.C. Fire/EMS spokesperson Pete Piringer. At that point a second alarm was raised.

No injuries have been reported, but firefighters are still on the scene working to ensure the blaze is contained. Traffic delays should be expected in the area — the intersection has been blocked off to traffic.
