ART: Today is your last chance to check out the 2010 DCist Exposed Photography Show at the Long View Gallery. Though the show was supposed to conclude this past Sunday, it’s been extended through today, with special gallery hours from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Of course purchasing a photo from DCist Exposed is a way to make this show never end. MUSIC: Sweden’s Little Dragon is back in town for a 7:30 p.m. show tonight at Liv. Also performing will be VV Brown, an Amy Winehouse-like British R&B singer. $18 in advance.
The Rock and Roll Hotel is hosting The RX Bandits with The Builders and The Butchers and Zechs Marquise 8 p.m., $15.
CLASSICAL: Head over to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall tonight at 8 p.m. for the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in a concert sponsored by WPAS. Christian Tetzlaff will play Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto, while Michael Tilson Thomas shakes things up a bit when he conducts pieces by Ravel and Liszt, along with a new piece by Victor Kissine. Tickets range from $25 – $105.
FOOD & DRINK: Drink for a cause. Hit up Ulah Bistro (1214 U Street NW) tonight from 6-9 p.m. where tips on drinks and 10 percent of proceeds will go to the Water for People organization. Find more information on the Bartending4Change Facebook event page.
